A tremendous number of people believe that eating organic foods provides the best benefit in terms of health. Basically, organic foods consist about 50% more nutrients, vitamins and minerals than commercial foods. What people know about organic foods refer to fruits and vegetables. That is precisely correct. However, other organic products are available to expand the distribution of foods that are considered as organic which contain about the same amount of healthful value. Those products are helpful, too. Beware that some of products are commercialized though. Nevertheless, you will not only identify the benefits but you will also learn the best and most reliable food products to further achieve a better healthy life.
If you want to switch to organic foods, it is very important to know the benefits. Here, you will also know the secret of spending money wisely to a healthier life. But, make sure you are determined to do this as a habit. You need to get used to it especially if you want to avoid meat and replace nutritional foods as part of your daily serving.
First, they give better health. Before the rise of commercial and junk foods, people during the early ages tend to live a longer life. The main reason is that these foods are produced and refined naturally. They do not undergo a process wherein additional artificial chemicals are found. Farmers are good in taking care of them.
Also, eating organic foods reduce the risk of cancer and other serious illnesses. Fruits and vegetables contain a lot of nutrients as well as a huge percent of antioxidants. Examples of nutrients found in these natural foods are ascorbic acids and beta-carotene which are known to help prevent cancer. Furthermore, plants that produce crops are sometimes exposed to pesticides and this makes them to have a greater need for antioxidants. It is part of the defense mechanism of plants.
Other organic food benefits include the following: a better taste and environmentally friendly. What do these mean?
A lot of people turn to eat raw foods because they would taste better. Plus, many farmers do not use harmful chemicals when they plant. Thus, it helps in eliminating pollutions making the environment safer to live in.
Do all of these make sense? If so, you can also help in promoting a good environment by giving organic food gift baskets. This would surely be a factor in advertising the benefits of eating organic food. Doing this is a new way of giving gifts to birthdays, thanksgiving and other occasions. For sure, your friends have not tried giving organic food gift basket. It will be fun if it starts with you.
Of course, you also want your own family to receive the same benefits. Yes, you can provide the foods which have nutritional values to your children. There is a baby organic food available for your little boys and girls. While they are still on the developing stage, provide foods which could enhance their growth as well as their behavior. Do not worry since there are products that come in different flavors such as apple, banana, pear, sweet potatoes and so much more. Your child would also love to taste some. In addition, if you find the products for babies way too expensive, you can make your own. There is a wide variety of organic food recipes which you can turn into if you need to prepare baby organic food.
If you want a healthier life for your family, encourage them in eating organic foods. Cooking them does not take you a lot of time. You can depend on organic food cookbook. It will help you identify the best ingredients, know on how to cook a good meal, and of course, determine how much you need to spend. Try to collect cookbooks first so you will earn familiarity towards eating nutritional foods.
For instant food or some snack, there are organic nutritional supplements for you and your children. Some of these foods are packed in chocolates, chips, energy bar and even juice drinks. When you go to grocery stores, you can find lots of these. Instead of buying commercialized snack foods for your kids, try buying organic nutritional supplements. These would absolutely enhance a greater factor in having a healthier body. Since they are out on the market, there are also organic food coupons available if you want to save money. This will surely help you in your budget. You have to know that there most of these foods are expensive, too. So, for money wise, get several coupons.
When you do so, try the products if they have USDA Organic label. This is another way to figure out if you are buying foods which are organically produced. Through this label, you will find how much the percentage of organic ingredients included is. Do not be confused if some are labeled as "all-natural". What is important is when you read the label "USDA Organic".
Buying organic foods do not only provide you better health but also you contribute in the development of agriculture. This means when you buy this kind of foods, you are helping in the distribution of the economy of agricultural industry. For this reason, you are giving back the benefits.

Is Your Prosperity and Wealth Related to Your Health?
By Sacha Tarkovsky
Vegetarianism is the custom of not eating meat, including beef, poultry, fish, or their by-products, with or without the use of dairy products or eggs.
But why would someone want to become a vegetarian? Simply you can he healthier happier lose wieght and avoid disease.
The health benefits of being a vegetarian
The reasons may be religious or ethical, economic, or nutritional, and its followers differ as to strictness of observance.
Most Hindu and Buddhist sects are strict vegetarians, as are Seventh-day Adventists. In today’s United States, vegetarianism has gained wide acceptance as a practice that lowers one's risk for the “diseases of the wealthy,” e.g., high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.
So there may be many reasons to become a vegetarian, but most people agree, you lead a healthier life.
How to become a vegetarian
Just as there are many reasons for becoming a vegetarian, there are many ways to become one.
One may eat only fruits and vegetables, thus excluding animal flesh, fish, or fowl and often butter, eggs, and milk.
A strict vegetarian, or vegan diet (i.e., one that excludes all animal products), the nine essential amino acids we need must be obtained by eating foods that include both grains and legumes (e.g., beans or tofu) at several times during the day.
Vitamins B12 and D (usually obtained by a meat diet) can be obtained through supplements or the addition of a cup of nonfat milk or yogurt to one’s daily diet. Ovo-lacto-vegetarians obtain complete proteins by including milk, cheese, and eggs in their diets.
Being a vegetarian is not new
Historically, being a vegetarian goes back to the beginning of time, and indeed, most of our ancestors did not eat meat very often, if at all.
Interestingly, vegetarians in used to be called "Pythagoreans" after the philosopher Pythagoras (6th Century BC) and his followers.
They were strict vegans that ate no meat of any kind. These people followed a vegetarian diet for both nutritional and ethical reasons. Using the Roman poet Ovid as the source, Pythagoras said: "As long as Man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love."
Vegetarians live longer
As to the benefit of being a vegetarian, you can consider the Hunzas, a tribe of people that reside near the Himalayas. These people are known to live to be over 100 years old and have an exclusively vegetarian diet. They are known to be healthy and without illness all of their lives. There are many other examples.
Vegetarians avoid disease
Most nutritionists claim that a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables but low in (or no) animal fat and red meat offers numerous health benefits, including a significantly lower risk of heart disease, cancer, renal failure and stroke.
The American Dietetic Association, the world’s largest organization of nutrition professionals, states on its website:
"Vegetarian diets offer a number of nutritional benefits, including lower levels of saturated fat, cholesterol, and animal protein as well as higher levels of carbohydrates, fiber, magnesium, potassium, folate, and antioxidants such as vitamins C and E and phytochemicals.
Vegetarians are slimmer
Also, and of great interest to people who are interested in a healthy life-style, vegetarians have been reported to have lower body mass indices than non-vegetarians (i.e. they are thinner), as well as lower rates of death from ischemic heart disease;
vegetarians also show lower blood cholesterol levels; lower blood pressure; and lower rates of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and prostate and colon cancer.
“The American Heart Association's website states "Many studies have shown that vegetarians seem to have a lower risk of obesity, coronary heart disease (which causes heart attack), high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus and some forms of cancer. Various studies have shown that a vegetarian mother's breast milk has significantly lower levels of pesticide residue than a non-vegetarian's.
Do vegetarians miss out on essential nutrients?
Some criticism of becoming (or being) a vegetarian is that you miss some important nutrients, which one needs to be healthy. It is true that some vegetable protein sources lack in one or more "essential" amino acid.
For example, Grains and nuts are low in lysine and legumes are low in methionine. While everyone should eat a variety of foods (from 10 to 50 varieties per day) to ensure a balanced nutrition, the body’s requirement for essential amino acids now appears to be much less important than researchers once believed.
Vegetarians get all the protein and amino acids they need from eating a normal variety of whole grains ( such as whole wheat bread, oatmeal, and especially brown rice), and different beans, nuts, and soy along with its byproducts tofu, veggie burgers/hotdogs, and edamame etc.
Be healthy be happy be vegetarian!
The reasons can go and and on, but it takes some effort to change over from a meat to a vegetarian diet. In part 2 of this article, we tell you how and safely eat your way to a healthier and happier life.

Is Your Prosperity and Wealth Related to Your Health?
By Beth Montana
Today people are dying of stress. We are working all the days of our lives to create wealth, at the expense of our health. Then we seem to spend all of our wealth we have strived to earn, trying to get our health back. We don't have to go down that road anymore. We can support our biology with longevity technologies, and with foods and nutrition that keep us up at full speed all the time without any downs or lows, or at least not the downs and lows that we knew before.
One of the reasons that we have financial troubles in our lives today is because we are INTERNALLY bankrupt in such things as vitamins and minerals, in enzymes and polysaccharides, in the RIGHT kind of protein, in the RIGHT kind of calcium, and what is happening is that we are then manifesting that on the outside, in our prosperity, or should I say lack of it.
If you are lacking sufficiency on the inside, you cannot attract and create abundance on the outside.
The way that you can achieve this sufficiency, is by eating the "superfoods", organic foods and health foods, all those that still have all the minerals and vitamins still intact in them. That's the really important point. Raw foods are really catching on nowadays, there are now raw-food-only restaurants opening up around the world. Based on 150 years of solid research it has been found that there is superior nutrition in raw foods as opposed to any other kind of foods - processed food, roasted food, microwaved food etc.
Just about all of us have experienced ups and downs in our financial careers at one time or another, one minute you have money and then the next minute its gone. We all know what that feels like - not good, it feels awful. When we have sufficient money in our bank accounts, we feel good, we can get a lot done, with less stress, we feel like we are in a state of prosperity and abundance which is a "good feeling" state.
If we can create this kind of state in our body BEFORE, then the next thing we know we will create it on the OUTSIDE, AFTER.
By actually getting the right nutrition, we are amplifying our ability to create. That's where these "superfoods", these herbs and organic foods fit in. Let's get back to food that still has "life" in it. Food that has all its nutrients and minerals still intact, all its chemistry intact, it has not been altered in any way. Food that's not coming from a factory, but foods that are actually coming from the earth.
When we start to eat correctly, when we bring into our bodies some things that are easy, simple, that's actually food, not chemical stuff, but REAL stuff, what can happen is that we will start feeling good, really good! Then not only will we WANT to be here, because if we look around us we see a lot of people are totally stressed out because their biology is out of balance. They start losing the will to be here, to live. When you start WANTING to be here because your will to live increases, then your means increases, you become more creative, more imaginative, more solution oriented, this is prosperity. This is a prosperity equation that is really second to none. Then if we add in longevity, we have got more time and ability to try different things, become successful, and actually ENJOY life.
One thing for sure is that we don't know exactly what the outcome of us using all the chemicals we have created, and now apply to our food supply and earth. But I think it's safe to say, we're pretty sure it's not going to be good. Cancer rates are up to almost 50% of what's killing people, and we suspect at this point that this has something to do with spraying food with chemicals, using artificial fertilizers and all the chemicals that surround us. So if we can just start at a baseline level, with some raw organic foods, then we will be on the right path to health. Just by adding some of these "superfoods" into our diets will make all the difference.
By doing this, it will help us to adapt to the stresses that we are all experiencing, it will help to activate our imagination and creativity, and it will help us get into a state of SUFFICIENCY inside ourselves so that we're not in an enzyme bankruptcy or a mineral bankruptcy, so that we are in an enzyme and mineral abundance, and very likely if we are there, then on the OUTSIDE we will be able to create that abundance too.
If you change the biology of your body then instead of "pushing into the world", you actually become more "attractive" to prosperity. It is all about the person that you are. By transforming the person that you are, we then attract that prosperity that we have been looking for.

Organic Health Food Real Or Paying For a Fancy Name
By Mark Wadinski
Organic Health Food has of late become such a catchphrase that it has entered the language of the common or garden Yank to almost day-to-day use. It is a note of which many folks believe they know the meaning, but few do.
1 or 2 seconds of hard speculation produces a myriad of questions: what's unique about organic food vs the garden-variety superstore wares? And what about organic baby food? Is it seriously different or superior? What are the benefits? Am I able to trust the labels? Below run some regularly asked questions and non-permanent answers, just doing my part to help in your education what's unique about organic food vs the garden-variety superstore wares? Essentially the differences on your plate occur in two spheres : additions and chemicals.
The prior can imply anything that changes the standard of the food in color, consistency, taste and marks. The 2nd is anything that keeps food fresh for longer amounts of time and is sometimes some variety of sodium product. As the northern US diet is dangerously high in sodium, there's not any need for the consumption of further salts as chemicals. On the farm level, the differences become even more dramatic.
And what about organic baby food? Is it noticeably different or superior? Organic baby food boasts all the same benefits as regular organic food spotted above. Since baby's body is loads more fragile to poisons than is an adult's, the benefits of avoiding additions increase noticeably. Disposing of additions and chemicals in organic baby food also quite essentially suggests that there are less ingredients to which baby may develop allergies and that digestion of organic baby food is easier. Organic baby food is quick-cooked so that less nutriments will be lost, an unlucky derivative of cooking food typically. This is going to be reduced by making your own or feeding baby more iron-rich food. What are the benefits? Well, this is the selling point of organic product. Less poisons in your diet mean avoidance of certain commercial maladies.
Organic ingredients give the possibility for the average consumer to grasp exactly what they are eating. And, when you have experienced this phenomenon, you're unlikely to take a look at non-organic food labels the same way again. Am I able to trust the labels? This one is troublesome. Just as there are zillions of lobbyists and worried citizen action groups, there are zillions of company employees and counsels finding tactics around existing law.
Simple research helps a lot to slash through the claims and counterclaims. For example, if a baby food label is marked chicken, this suggests that chicken must comprise as little as forty percent of the ingredients' total mass. If two ingredients are listed, the initial need only make up ten percent and in the second less is acceptable. If it is full of flash, oily promotional guarantees and a deficit of solid data, become suspicious.

The Health Benefits Of Organic Food
By Michelle Bery
The society of today is one that struggles to find its balance when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. We are bombarded on a daily basis with the newest and best products on the market all designed to help us achieve maximum health. But for many who have traveled this road many a time, the answer is simple; a healthy lifestyle begins and ends with a nutritious diet rich in whole foods. But while we may know the types of food we should be eating – fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains – we are now faced with another choice – that of organic food.
Ask any organic food enthusiast and they will happily tell you the health benefits of organic food. And when faced with the information it’s difficult to ignore the substantial differences between organic food and that food that is grown or produced in a traditional environment.
Organic food is grown and raised by a group of committed organic farmers working within strictly enforced government guidelines. Produce that is grown organically is done so without the use of pesticides or chemical additives. Chemicals and pesticides are, however, used on traditional farms. And while not much thought is given to additives when we encounter fruits and vegetables in the grocery store, the truth is that insufficient research has been done regarding the long term effects of these chemicals on the human body.
The same holds true for agricultural and dairy farming practices. While agricultural and dairy farmers traditionally feed their livestock supplements and hormones to speed their growth and milk production, organic farmers do just the opposite. Animals are given only organic feed and are not subjected to chemicals or hormones of any kind.
Organic food has benefits that extend to the environment as well. Organic farming means that the ground is not subjected to chemical or pesticide run-off. Organic farmers are strongly committed to the environment and their product is only considered certified organic food if they adhere to strict government regulations.
Organic food can mean significant benefits for your health and that of those you love. Additionally, it shows a dedication to the environment and the future of the planet.

Thinking About the Organic Food Garden Beginners Manual?
By Gus Lindow
Summer is now half over, and though the larger part of our Midwestern planting season is now past there is still much that can and must be done in your organic vegetable garden. Pests and weeds are probably running rampant and watering is a constant necessity. There are even preparations that should be made for canning, freezing, drying and preserving your crops.
As much as we all might wish it were the case, your garden isn't something you can just forget about after you plant the seeds. You must watch it constantly and if you are not sure what you need to watch, give The Organic Food Garden Beginners Manual a look.
I, as a Horticulture Major have found this e-book very useful. For the first time in the twenty odd years I have lived on my family farm, we have a garden and the Organic Food Garden Beginners Guide was one of several resources I used in establishing that garden. The instructions contained in the e-book are clear, concise and to the point and very comprehensive. Strategies for soil building are included, along with proper watering techniques, sowing seeds, transplanting seedlings and countless other vital basics that any beginner should know. The e-book was created by a woman in Australia by the name of Julie Villani and although our seasons are reversed here in the northern hemisphere the information can be easily adapted to life in the Midwest. There is even a vegetable sowing chart included for the northern and southern hemispheres, and though it may take a moments to figure out how to read the chart the information is still quite useful.

The book even has instructions for creating your own organic fertilizers and organic pesticides. Thus even an experienced gardener could pick up a few tips from the Organic Food Garden Beginners Manual.
